The Festival of Arts mission is to promote, produce, and sponsor events and activities that encourage the appreciation, study and performance of the arts.
Becoming an Exhibitor
Applications to exhibit in the 2012 Summer Exhibit will be accepted and processed by the Festival of Arts.
Applications must be received by Friday, October 28, 2011 (4 pm) at the Festival of Arts.
Application Fee: $50 per medium.

Jury Details / Selection Process Eligibility:
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Only artists who have resided in the following zip codes for at least one year prior to October 28, 2011 qualify*.

*At the time of acceptance, proof of residency will be required such as a copy of property tax bill or rental/lease agreement.
Note: Studio or Gallery location does not qualify as residence.
• No reproductions - only original artwork is accepted and exhibited.
• All work must be of original design and solely the work of the artist. The work exhibited must match the quality and style of
work as represented in the submitted images. Only original artwork is accepted, no reproductions.
• The jurying process is in two phases. The first phase, jurors will review the three digital images per media submitted by applicants.
The images will be scored on a Yes-No System. Additonal media would require a separate submission.
The jurors will score the submitted artwork, based on quality, intention and content; excellence of craftmanship; facility with media;
excellence in the use of design elements; and professional presentation.

1) All applicants will receive notification of their results.
2) Artists advancing to the second phase will be invited to submit three finished pieces to a physical jurying in Laguna Beach on Sunday, December 4, 2011.
3) No results will be given by telephone. An invitation will be extended to those who receive the highest scores during phase two to participate in the 2012 Festival of Arts exhibit.
